Joint Sealing for Stone and Concrete Details
KEDA S500 is intended for non-structural connection and perimeter joints involving stone and concrete. Its purpose is joint sealing, not the bonding, anchoring or repair of stone components.
Product selection starts with the actual surface and joint design. Stone type, surface treatments, adjacent materials and exposure conditions all need to be considered before installation.

Request the current product instructions and confirmed supply specifications for your application.
These applications require confirmation for the selected product and project. Facade joints also require assessment of the complete joint assembly, exposure and expected movement.
A stone name alone is not enough to establish sealant suitability. Provide the stone type and finish, together with details of any factory treatment, impregnation or protective coating.
Arrange adhesion and staining assessments using representative project materials and the proposed sealant, primer, backing material and cleaning method. The assessment should address both the exposed face and the joint edges. Do not treat a quick spot check as a substitute for project-required testing.
No universal non-staining performance is claimed for S500 on this page. Compatibility must be established for the actual materials and conditions.
Review the materials and application before choosing the supplied grade.
This is a general workflow. Follow the instructions and safety information supplied with the selected product.
Provide ventilation and use the protective equipment specified in the supplied safety information.
No. S500 is positioned for non-structural joint sealing. Stone repair, slab bonding and cladding attachment require an appropriate adhesive or fixing system selected for those tasks.
A blanket guarantee is not made here. Staining performance needs to be established for the selected product and the actual stone, finish and joint materials before use.
Primer selection depends on the sealant, substrate condition and exposure. Provide details of concrete age, moisture condition and any curing compound or coating. Follow the confirmed preparation instructions rather than selecting a primer solely because it is labelled for concrete.
Send the desired shade and, where possible, a reference sample. Any available colour and packaging option must be confirmed before ordering. A screen image or packaging illustration is not a reliable colour standard.
Send the stone or concrete details, surface treatments, joint dimensions, exposure conditions and project requirements. Include your preferred colour and packaging, estimated quantity and destination market so KEDA can discuss product selection and quotation requirements.
