  • Available Colors: Clear/Transparent, White, Black, Gray, Customized
  • Packaging Type: Hard tube, Sausage pack/cartridge
  • Shelf Life: 12 months from production date (in sealed original container)
  • Storage Conditions: Store in cool, dry place below 27°C

Step 1: Surface Preparation

  • Ensure all substrate surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contamination, dust, oil, grease, and loose particles
  • Remove any old sealant, paint, or coatings that may interfere with adhesion
  • For porous substrates, ensure they are sufficiently dry before application

Step 2: Application Preparation

  • Cut the cartridge nozzle at a 45° angle to desired bead size
  • For 590ml: Load cartridge into a standard caulking gun or power applicator
  • For 300ml: Load into a standard hand-held caulking gun
  • Prime the gun by squeezing until sealant appears at nozzle tip

Step 3: Application

  • Apply sealant evenly and continuously into the joint or gap
  • Maintain consistent pressure for uniform bead size
  • For best results, apply in continuous motion without stopping
  • Fill joints completely without air pockets

Step 4: Tooling & Finishing

  • Smooth and tool the sealant surface within 10-15 minutes of application before skin formation
  • Use a spatula or smoothing tool moistened with soapy water for best finish
  • Remove masking tape immediately after tooling if used
  • Clean any excess sealant from surfaces before it cures

Step 5: Curing

  • Surface begins to cure in approximately 10-20 minutes
  • Allow adequate curing time before exposing to stress or weather: typically 24-48 hours for light handling
  • Full cure achieved in 7-14 days depending on joint depth and environmental conditions
  • Protect from rain and moisture during initial curing period

Tips

Size Selection Guide:

  • 590ml: Best for professional contractors, large-scale projects, multiple window installations, commercial applications
  • 300ml: Ideal for residential DIY projects, small repairs, single window/door installations, homeowners, maintenance work

For Best Results:

  • Use backer rod or bond breaker tape for joints deeper than 10mm to control joint depth
  • Recommended joint width-to-depth ratio: 2:1 for optimal performance
  • Avoid three-sided adhesion which can cause joint failure
  • Apply in moderate temperatures (15-25°C) for best flow and cure
  • Do not apply in rainy conditions or when rain is expected within 24 hours

Application Tips:

  • For window installation, apply continuous bead around entire perimeter
  • Do not stretch or compress joints excessively during or after application
  • Clean tools and uncured sealant immediately with mineral spirits
  • Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically (cutting or scraping)
  • Wear gloves during application to avoid skin contact

Swift Series Value Proposition:

  • Professional door and window performance at competitive pricing
  • Same technical specifications as premium brands
  • Ideal for contractors seeking quality without premium brand pricing
  • Excellent for large-scale residential and commercial door/window projects
  • Reliable performance for everyday installations

Professional Installation:

  • For new window installations, coordinate with frame installation sequence
  • Ensure adequate drainage design to prevent water accumulation
  • Consider thermal expansion when designing joint widths
  • Document installation conditions for warranty purposes
  • Follow manufacturer’s window installation guidelines

Color Selection:

  • Clear/Transparent: Best for glass-to-glass applications, maintains visibility
  • White: Most popular for white PVC windows, painted frames, general use
  • Black: For dark-colored frames, contemporary designs
  • Gray: For aluminum frames, concrete, modern architecture

Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect joints for complete fill and proper tooling
  • Check for air pockets or gaps in application
  • Verify proper adhesion to all substrates
  • Ensure consistent bead appearance

Storage & Handling:

  • Store cartridges upright in cool, dry location
  • Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principle
  • Once opened, use cartridge within one month for best performance
  • Do not expose to freezing temperatures or excessive heat
  • Protect from direct sunlight during storage

Maintenance:
