START WITH YOUR MATERIAL
The right discussion
starts with the tile.
Tile appearance and dimensions are only part of the selection. Include water absorption, backing, substrate and the installation location.
Absorbent ceramic tiles
Start with the tile specification and a sound mineral substrate. Review the interior wall or floor location before discussing the adhesive.
Ceramic tiles and mosaics
Share the tile backing, mosaic material and substrate preparation. Review thin-bed installation on suitable interior surfaces.
Porcelain and larger formats
Low water absorption, thin panels and larger dimensions need a product-specific review. Share the actual tile specification and installation system.

INSTALLATION PLANNING
Good preparation.
Consistent bedding.
These planning steps connect product selection to the site. Use the instructions supplied with the selected adhesive for the actual application.
- 01
Prepare & assess
Check the tile and substrate. Correct weak or uneven areas and confirm any primer or waterproofing requirements.
- 02
Mix as specified
Use the supplied product instructions for water, resting and remixing. Keep the mixture within its working period.
- 03
Spread & check contact
Comb straight ridges, coat the tile back as required and check bedding. Place tiles before the adhesive skins.
- 04
Protect & finish
Keep the installation undisturbed for the specified setting period. Plan grouting, movement joints and return to service.
TILE INSTALLATION QUESTIONS
Before you enquire.
Can I choose the adhesive by tile size alone?+
Include the tile type, water absorption and backing as well as its dimensions. The substrate, wall or floor location and service conditions also guide selection. Send the tile specification with your enquiry.
Does C210 automatically suit every porcelain tile or slab?+
Review the actual tile specification against the selected product’s application limits. Low-absorption porcelain, sintered slabs and larger formats need a separate suitability review. A model number or polymer-modified description does not establish an international performance classification.
Can tile adhesive replace levelling or waterproofing?+
Prepare a sound substrate and correct significant unevenness before tiling. Where the design requires waterproofing or other preparation, include the appropriate products in the system. Confirm compatibility with the selected adhesive.
Can distributors enquire across the whole range?+
Yes. Describe the tiles commonly used by your customers, the destination market, packaging preferences and quantities. KEDA can discuss C99, C110 and C210 for your range. Minimum orders and supply terms are confirmed for the specific enquiry.
