Match the Adhesive to Your Tile Specification
Selecting an adhesive requires more than a tile’s appearance or trade name. Check its measured water absorption, dimensions and backing, together with the substrate and installation location.
Use the selection limits below when considering C210. For tiles outside these limits, request a product recommendation before ordering.

Review the materials and application before choosing the supplied grade.
The substrate must be sound, stable and clean. Remove dust, loose material, oil and release agents. Correct significant unevenness before tiling.
Do not bond onto weak coatings or unstable surfaces.
Measure clean water into a clean container, then gradually add powder while mixing mechanically. Follow the specified water ratio, resting time and remixing procedure.
Do not add water to restore mortar that has started to stiffen.
Comb the adhesive into straight ridges using a suitable notched trowel. Apply a thin coat to tile backs as needed to achieve adequate contact.
Press and move tiles across the ridges to collapse them. Lift tiles periodically to inspect bedding. Work in small sections and never install over adhesive that has formed a surface skin.
Provide temporary support where required for wall installations.
Leave the installation undisturbed until sufficiently hardened for grouting and service. Site conditions affect setting; do not assume that every installation is ready the following day.
Remove excess mortar and clean tools before it hardens.
Share the tile material, dimensions, water absorption, substrate and installation area. Confirm the actual grade for those conditions rather than selecting from the product name alone.
No. Request a technical specification and evidence for the supplied grade. This page does not establish a C1, C2, T, E or S classification.
Follow the supplied instructions for the actual tile, substrate and site conditions. Do not copy curing times from another product.
Send KEDA the tile specification, substrate, installation location and expected order quantity. For distributor enquiries, include the tile types commonly sold in your market so the appropriate adhesive range can be discussed.
