Usage Instructions

  • Define the reference. Provide a clean, dry stone sample and identify the finish, joint position and intended service conditions. Note any previous resin treatment or sealer.
  • Confirm the combination. Establish the permitted paste, dose limit and addition sequence for the selected adhesive. Use suitable measuring equipment; a visual guess is not a repeatable mixing recipe.
  • Prepare a small trial. Blend the approved quantity thoroughly using clean tools. Keep the prescribed resin-to-hardener or catalyst proportion unchanged. Do not count pigment as hardener.
  • Assess the finished sample. Let the adhesive cure under its specified conditions and finish it as planned. Compare color, edge staining, cure and polishing response, not just the appearance of the wet mixture.
  • Record the approved recipe. Record adhesive grade, paste shade, quantities, batch details and sample approval. Recheck when the stone lot, resin grade or color batch changes.

FAQ & Limitations

Is this a hardener or a complete adhesive?

Neither. It is a coloring accessory. The chosen adhesive still requires its own correctly proportioned components and approved curing process.

How much paste should I add?

Use the approved dose for the exact paste–adhesive combination. There is no single percentage established here for the whole KEDA range. Too much pigment should not be used to compensate for a poorly selected base adhesive color.

Can I blend different shades?

Ask KEDA to confirm that the selected shades can be blended in the intended adhesive. Approve a cured sample and record the quantities before repeating the mixture in production.

Will the repaired area be invisible?

No invisible-repair guarantee is made. Natural variation, translucency, joint geometry, lighting and the final finish affect the appearance. Agree an acceptable physical sample with the customer.
