How we handle information when you browse our website, send an enquiry or contact our team.

01Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Wuhan Keda Marble Protective Materials Co., Ltd. (“KEDA”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information connected with kedadhesive.com, product and supply enquiries, and related business communications.
We are based in Wuhan, China. Our contact address is Jinhai Industrial Park, Dongxihu District, Wuhan, Hubei, China. For privacy questions or requests, email Kris@whk8.com. Please use the subject “Privacy Request”.
02Information we receive
Information you provide depends on how you contact us:
- Enquiry forms: your name, work email, company, country or region, business type, product interests, estimated quantity and the requirements you enter.
- Direct communication: contact details and messages sent by email, phone or WhatsApp, including product or project information and any attachments you choose to send.
- Subsequent business discussions: contact, quotation, delivery and transaction details needed if your enquiry progresses to samples or an order.
Website and form systems may also record technical information such as IP address, browser information, page URL and submission time to deliver the service, identify spam and investigate faults.
Required form fields are identified on the form. Without sufficient contact and requirements information, we may be unable to respond meaningfully. Please avoid sending identification documents, payment card information or sensitive personal details through a general enquiry form. Share information about other people only when you are authorised to do so.
03How we use information
- Respond to your enquiry and communicate about product selection, application, packaging, availability and supply arrangements.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate samples or orders that you request.
- Maintain the correspondence and business records needed to manage those discussions.
- Protect the website and communication systems against spam, misuse and technical problems.
- Meet applicable recordkeeping obligations and handle disputes or lawful requests.
You can ask us to stop optional follow-up or promotional communications by replying to a message or contacting Kris@whk8.com. This does not prevent necessary communication about an ongoing order or a privacy request.
04Grounds for processing
The grounds that apply depend on the processing activity and the law that applies to it. Where European or UK data protection law applies, these can include:
- Legitimate interests: responding to business enquiries, maintaining business contact records and protecting our systems, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Contract-related necessity: taking steps you request before entering a contract, or performing a contract, where you are personally a party to it.
- Legal obligations: keeping records or responding to requirements imposed by law.
- Consent: activities for which consent is required, such as certain optional tracking or communications.
Where Chinese personal information law applies, processing must have a basis available under that law; European-style legitimate interests are not a substitute for required consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing before withdrawal. Merely browsing this website does not constitute consent to optional tracking.
05Recipients and service providers
Information relevant to an enquiry is handled by personnel involved in responding to it. Depending on the service or transaction, recipients may also include:
- Website hosting, maintenance, security and form-processing providers.
- Email delivery, storage and business communication providers.
- Logistics or professional advisers where needed for a requested order or a legal matter.
- Authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law.
Service-provider access should be limited to the purpose for which the provider is engaged. A platform you choose to use, such as WhatsApp, also handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. You can contact us for details of providers relevant to your enquiry.
06Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar storage technologies can support website sessions, security, remembered preferences and embedded services. The information involved and its duration depend on the technologies actually enabled.
Optional analytics, advertising or third-party tracking, if enabled, may process identifiers and website interaction information. Where prior consent is required, these technologies must be controlled by a separate consent mechanism. This Privacy Policy itself is not a cookie consent control.
Your browser lets you inspect, block and delete stored cookies. Blocking some storage may affect website functions. Browser controls do not remove information already supplied to KEDA or a third-party service. Contact Kris@whk8.com for questions about technologies used on this website.
07YouTube, WhatsApp and external links
Our company film uses YouTube. Loading or playing an embedded video can allow Google/YouTube to receive device and connection information, viewing activity and identifiers, and to use its own storage technologies. A privacy-enhanced player does not mean no data is processed. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
If you choose a WhatsApp link, your use of that service is governed by WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy. KEDA receives the messages and contact information you send to our business contact through that service.
Our location link opens Google Maps. Following it takes you to a Google service, which processes information under Google’s policy. Other external sites also have their own practices. You can use our email or phone contact instead of these external services.
08International processing
Our team is located in China, and information sent to KEDA may be accessed and handled in China. Hosting, email and communication services may process information in other countries, depending on the provider and its infrastructure.
Cross-border processing must follow any applicable transfer requirements. The arrangements depend on the origin of the information and the services used. Contact Kris@whk8.com to ask where information relevant to your enquiry is handled and about the applicable transfer arrangements.
09How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose and the type of record, rather than a single period for all information:
- Enquiries and correspondence: the time needed to answer, complete any follow-up and manage the resulting business relationship.
- Quotation and order records: the business, accounting and legal recordkeeping requirements that apply to the transaction.
- Technical and security records: the time needed to operate the service, address faults and investigate misuse.
- Backups: the applicable backup rotation and recovery period, subject to necessary legal holds.
Relevant criteria include whether a discussion or order remains active, outstanding obligations, applicable retention requirements and unresolved disputes. Information should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed. Ask us for retention information relevant to your records.
10Security and business users
We use measures appropriate to the information and the service to reduce unauthorised access, disclosure, loss or misuse. Access to enquiry records should be limited to people who need them for their work. No website or communication method can guarantee absolute security.
This website is intended for professional and business users. General enquiries do not require sensitive personal information or information about children. If such information is sent by mistake, please contact us so it can be addressed.
11Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access to or a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability. You may also have a right to object and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw consent.
You may object to direct marketing at any time. Reply to the communication or contact Kris@whk8.com. Other objections will be assessed under the applicable law.
To make a request, email Kris@whk8.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject and describe the information or communication concerned. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity; do not send identification documents unless we specifically request a secure method. We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request.
Some records may need to be retained because of legal obligations or an ongoing dispute. If a request cannot be fully fulfilled, we will explain the applicable reason. You may also complain to the competent privacy or data protection authority in your jurisdiction; where relevant, this includes your EEA supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner.
12Policy updates and contact
We may revise this notice when our website, services or information practices change. The date shown above identifies the latest version. Where the law requires additional notice or consent for a change, publishing a revised policy alone is not a substitute.
