Bonding and Sealing for Interior Fit-Outs
KEDA Multi-Purpose Adhesive & Sealant is intended for general non-structural installation work that involves bonding components or sealing compatible connection joints. Start with the task: the requirements for attaching a trim are different from those for sealing a joint beside it.

Request the current product instructions and confirmed supply specifications for your application.
All applications require confirmation against the actual product's instructions and material compatibility.
For bonding, assess the component weight, bonding area, substrate strength and required supports. Initial holding does not establish full cured strength.
For sealing, assess joint width, depth, expected movement and exposure. Match these to verified sealant capability; a product's ability to bond two surfaces does not prove that it can accommodate a particular joint movement.
Review the materials and application before choosing the supplied grade.
Follow the instructions supplied with the confirmed product. This overview does not specify application dimensions or curing times.
Remove failed material, loose coatings and contamination. Check that the substrate is sound. Test representative materials, including surface finishes, and use only approved cleaners and primers.
Apply the specified bead pattern and bond-line thickness, position the component within the permitted working time, and provide the required support until curing is sufficient. Keep any permanent fixings required by the installation design.
Confirm the joint design before application. Install compatible backing material where specified. Fill the joint continuously with contact along both sides, then tool and remove masking within the working period. Use only an approved finishing method.
Protect the assembly or joint from disturbance and premature exposure. Follow the supplied safety information, provide ventilation and use appropriate protective equipment.
The intended roles differ: high-tack mounting focuses on initial holding during installation, while this range is positioned for selected bonding and sealing tasks. The names alone do not establish relative strength, flexibility or curing speed.
No. Select by substrate, joint design and exposure rather than by a general-purpose label. A specialist application may require a different product or system.
Only after the expected joint movement and dimensions have been matched to verified product capability. No movement class is assigned on this page.
Those uses are not established here. Sealing a connection is not, by itself, evidence of sanitary performance or suitability for immersion.
Confirm compatibility with the actual paint system and follow the product's curing and coating instructions. Paintability is not assumed from the product name.
Tell KEDA whether you need bonding, sealing or both. Send the material pair, surface finish, component or joint dimensions, exposure conditions and project requirements. Include estimated quantity and destination market so available options can be confirmed before quotation.
