FAQ & Limitations

Is this the same as the high-tack mounting adhesive?

The intended roles differ: high-tack mounting focuses on initial holding during installation, while this range is positioned for selected bonding and sealing tasks. The names alone do not establish relative strength, flexibility or curing speed.

Can it replace every silicone sealant?

No. Select by substrate, joint design and exposure rather than by a general-purpose label. A specialist application may require a different product or system.

Can it be used in an expansion joint?

Only after the expected joint movement and dimensions have been matched to verified product capability. No movement class is assigned on this page.

Is it suitable for bathrooms or permanent water exposure?

Those uses are not established here. Sealing a connection is not, by itself, evidence of sanitary performance or suitability for immersion.
